The Beach Boys are America’s rock and roll band. Formed in 1961, the band performed at the Jackson County Fair in 2008. They are noted for their close vocal harmonies and upbeat lyrics featuring the California culture of surfing, girls and fast cars. The Beach Boys have performed for presidents and kings, with their songs soaring in popularity over the years. The band currently features founding members Mike Love and Bruce Johnston, along with John Cowsill, Tim Bonhomme, Randell Kirsch, Scott Totten, and Christian Love.

The Jackson County Fairgrounds is proud to announce that concert lawn seating at the 2010 Jackson County Fair, presented by Sherms, will be free with fair admission. The Fair runs Tuesday, July 20 through Sunday, July 25 at the Jackson County Fairgrounds & Expo Park in Central Point.

Fair admission is just $9 for adults, $6 for kids age seven to twelve and seniors (age 62 and over), and free for kids under seven. Tuesday is Senior Day with seniors enjoying free entrance to the fair
