FAQ - Jackson County Fairgrounds Exhibits
Q: What are the exhibits?A:
Open Exhibits:
For that fun of an old country fair, walk through the Open Exhibits and 4H Exhibits in the Padgham Pavilion. The talents in our local community are showcased here and include projects in technology, art, plants, flowers, photography, crafts, textiles, baked goods and food preservation. This is a fun walk through for all ages and it’s interesting to see all the handiwork. We invite you to enter your hobby; see Premium book for details. Enter your favorite chocolate cake by 3 p.m., Wednesday, July 22, and enter the fair for free!
Commercial Exhibits and Food Court:
The outdoor and indoor commercial exhibits offer everything from clothes to jewelry, garden art and things for the home, cosmetics and nutritional aids, information on insurance, safe forests, health, armed forces recruitment plus the excitement of a climbing wall, mechanical bull ride and new this year is a pitching cage. Food choices are varied with stands selling ice cream, candy, wraps and sausage sandwiches, barbecue and Thai, Mexican and Italian delicacies—a real flavor of international cuisine.
